Professional Inverter IGBT 3 In 1 Mig Welders 160 Amp Mig Welder
MIG welding, or MIG (Metal Inert Gas) is a process that uses electricity and shielding gases to create a weld joint. This process uses a constant voltage power supply of electricity and uses solid filler wire as a shield gas to feed. MIG welding is used on many different materials including metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and cast iron. Welding metal will require special equipment depending on the material being welded and how it was made.
The MIG gun can produce a much higher wire feed speed, with the ability to weld up to 13/32" wire. Modern MIG guns are highly automated, computerized and digital feedback systems are incorporated into them to ensure steady and consistent welding. PDD welding functions as a continuous arc and is controlled by electronic parameters like feed rate, voltage input and gas mixture control. The MIG machine uses wire feed to feed solid filler wire to the weld joint.
The MIG welding process makes it possible to weld metal together in one step with no heat-affected zone in less than 5 seconds. A MIG stick, which is a hand tool used in the process, connects to the gun and helps hold the wire steady while welding. This process creates a joint that is stronger and lasts longer than any other welding method.
